I arrived Orlando in the night of Aug 11,2009, and today is Aug 28, I guess. So it is more than two weeks since I have been here.
Everything goes as what we have expected. I went on with the whole enroll and orientation things during the first week, and we live in Tracy's house at the first week. We went to Disney's magic kingdom Park, it was surely great fun. Then the Cocoa Beach, we played in the sea and bought crabs back. I was allergic that night though, and it itches for the whole night. I also got my new cell phone that day, it is T-mobile, and my number is 407-729-5919. I like it very much.Then we moved in on Sunday, that is Aug 16.
The first part of the next week, I stayed home, unpacking and cooking, just like a housewife. Then I went to school hurried with these orientations and parties, etc. the internet is connected on that Wedenesday, almost correct, so I get informed since then. We went to wal-mart and other shopping markets almost every night bought all kinds of household things. Guowei was extremely tired because he has to work in the day. We were so busy that days but finally we had our house like a home. So we invited several intimate friends to have dinner that Sunday. We both cooked and it received lots of praises. True or not, I was very happy to hear that.
So the new semester begins. there is a littleproblems with the enrollment, but I got it overrided soon. I also met several peers in my lab: yidong liu jason and karan, all nice guys, and of course Dr. Yuan. I received a marriage gift from his wife: eight beautiful crystal glasses. Meizi came back from her internship in apple, California. So we and tracy went shopping on wednesday, my class is cancled that day. However, Yuan came and found me out,whoops. Then yestoday,I got my assignment to design a class AB power amplifier.
The computer in the lab is very poor though. Yuan is now working hard to get funding for my next year study, and he asked me to help him with new ideas and support. We are a team now. So I have no time to snag here. just move!
by the way, the swimming pool behind our house is very very comfortable, and I am waiting for the weekend now.
